Missouri Crisis Workforce Training Program

About the Training Program

The Missouri Department of Mental Health and Missouri Behavioral Health Council Workforce Training Project is a comprehensive workforce development initiative designed to strengthen crisis response practice across the state through a series of virtual learning modules. These modules support both immediate skill-building and longer-term consistency in crisis services by aligning training content, supervision, practice expectations, and workforce competencies. The virtual learning modules are designed to deepen knowledge in key crisis response topics. Each module may be completed as a standalone course based on individual or organizational learning needs. For learners completing the learning modules as a curriculum, the recommended sequence is as follows.
